Bensan OPA Is a high-level disinfectant for the reprocessing of heat-sensitive semi-critical medical devices for which sterilization is not suitable when used according to the instructions for use. Bensan OPA is a glutaraldehyde-free solution (the active ingredient is ortho-phthalaldehyde) and can be used manually or in an automated endoscope reprocessor (AER). Bensan OPA is specially formulated for professional reprocessing of heat-sensitive semi-critical medical devices:

• Flexible & Rigid Endoscopes: High-level disinfection of flexible and rigid endoscopes, bronchoscopes, cystoscopes, and accessories.
• Ultrasonic Probes: Reprocessing of transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) probes and transvaginal/transrectal ultrasound transducers.
• Surgical & Diagnostic Instruments: Suitable for heat-sensitive instruments, rigid scopes, and semi-critical medical devices incompatible with heat sterilization.
