 Dosage:rn To be determined by a health care professional according to patients’ rnneeds. Recommendation for complete nutrition 1000 ml (2000 kcal) / day.

 Important notes:rn To be used under medical supervision. Coagulation in the digestive tract, rne.g. due to drug interaction, may occur. Monitor feeding rate. Suitable as rnsole source of nutrition. Not suitable for infants < 1 year. Use with caution rnin children < 6 years. Not suitable for patients with galactosemic. Ensure rnadequate fluid and electrolyte intake. Not for parenteral (I.V.) use!

 Instructions for use:rn Recommended tube size:  CH 5 for pump assisted feeding and for gravity rnfeeding the minimum tube size is CH 12. Store at room temperature. rnOnce opened, use within 24 hours. Shake well before use! Do not use if bag rnis damaged or swollen or content is coagulated. Do not mix with drugs.

Contraindications:rn Not suitable whenever enteral nutrition is not permitted such as in acute rngastrointestinal bleeding, ileus and shock. Use with caution in severe organ rnfailure with impaired metabolism and severe forms of malassimilation. rnNot suitable for patients with congenital inability to metabolise nutrients rncontained in Fresubin 2 kcal HP / 2 kcal HP Fibre.
