Mölnlycke Mepilex Border Flex 10x10cm (4x4 in) is an all-in-one, self-adherent soft silicone foam dressing designed to manage a wide range of exuding acute and chronic wounds, conforming to the body and minimizing pain during changes.

Key Features and Benefits

360° Flex Technology: The dressing features innovative, Y-shaped cuts in the spreading and retention layers, allowing it to stretch in all directions. This ensures excellent conformability to difficult anatomical areas (like joints), reduces stress on the skin, and helps the dressing stay in place for up to seven days.

Safetac® Technology: The wound contact layer uses soft silicone adhesive that ensures gentle removal, minimizing pain for the patient and trauma to the wound and surrounding skin. It seals the wound margins to prevent exudate from leaking onto the surrounding skin (maceration).

Advanced Exudate Management: The five-layer design effectively absorbs, channels, and traps moderate to high amounts of wound fluid, including viscous exudate. Tests show it can manage more fluid than other comparable all-in-one foam dressings.

Exudate Progress Monitor: The breathable backing film includes a dot pattern that allows healthcare providers to visually track and record how fluid spreads, potentially avoiding unnecessary dressing changes and aiding in wound assessment.

Intended Use
