Cubison is a food for special medical purposes for the dietary management of disease related malnutrition in patients with impaired wound healing, including pressure and leg ulcers.
For use under medical supervision only, Cubison is a fibre-rich feed, high in protein and enriched with arginine, vitamins, trace elements and antioxidants, available as a 1kcal/ml tube feed.
Cubison is nutritionally complete and suitable as a sole source of nutrition for adults and children over 6 years of age.
Important usage considerations:
Nutrison Advanced Cubison should only be used under the supervision of a medical professional.
- Not for infants: The formula is not suitable for infants or for children under six years of age.
- Galactosemia: It should not be used by patients with galactosemia.
- Fiber-free diets: The formula contains fiber and is not suitable for patients who require a fiber-free diet.
- Storage and handling: According to Nutricia, the sealed bottle should be stored in a cool, dry place. Once opened, it must be stored in the refrigerator for a maximum of 24 hours.
- Administration: It is best administered at room temperature. Shake the bottle well before use.
