Sterile, freeze-dried composite of 45% oxidised regenerated cellulose (ORC) and 55% collagen. Gels on contact with exudate. Inactivates proteases and protects growth factors. Has demonstrated haemostatic properties, and can be used under compression therapy.

INDICATIONS:
Promogran is indicated for the management of all types of chronic wounds that are free of necrotic tissue and visible signs of infection. These include leg ulcers, both venous and arterial in origin, pressure sores and ulcers that occur on the feet of patients with diabetes.
The dressings were developed to maintain a moist microenvironment that is conducive to granulation tissue formation, epithelialization, and rapid wound healing. The matrix is a freeze dried composite that consists of 55% collagen and 45% oxidized regenerated cellulose (ORC).
SUGGESTED APPLICATION:
Indicated for the management of all wounds healing by secondary intent which are clear of necrotic tissue, including: venous leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, traumatic and surgical wounds
